Thought..

I was thinking, its been a while since I posted.. and somehow, the spark is not coming.. though I have been making a  lot of good things - choco-pear pie.. tandoori chicken.. fish n chips, to name the most recent. Why is that, do you think? Why-ever it may be, give me a reason to post please.. which means, ask me to make something.. a wish list, if you will :) But not right now.. after October.. am on leave till then :) So.. hopefully someone will help me pick myself up and move..
Thanks in anticipation :)

  1. Thanx for ur prompt reply dear. will defintily try and give u the feed back. u r right. actually i was using more yeast. vl try using a lesser quantity as uv mentioned in the recipe. As for the wish list, cud u please give/make Chicken/Meat Hara Masala using an authentic tried and tested recipe of urs. Im planning of making this dish for my school/college friends whom im inviting over next weekend. i have so many print outs from the net of this dish but im so confused. so if u help me out with this il just keep urs and throw out all the rest! A particular taste i have in mind is of the one Ravi Restaurant (ul know i f u r in Dubai)serves. But in either case i trust u. Thanx. Gurya ko pyar.

    Thanks :)

  6. Hey Fatima :) so glad we're on the same level..:)

Yes.. a grill is a wonderful thing.. how did u manage to make your hubby get one? tell the trick, so I can get one too.. :)

I do have a chicken seekh, but I make it on wooden skewers in the oven or in the pan. I prefer the pan variety, they're softer and jucier. Shall I jot that down? you can then try it on the grill and let me know how they bear with the grill?

    Thanks for writing in :)

  8. Thanks dear :)
I make them in the pan or under the grill sicne I dont have a bbq. Maybe u could try them and let us know, how well they do on the bbq? As to fall off, that is because the mince is not minced together well, or it has too much liquid in it or too much fat. And the dry is also either due to too high heat or too less fat. Try adjusting your recipe accordingly, inshaAllah they'll be ok :) Thanks so very much for loving my blog.. love u for it :) Thanks for writing..
